I'm pretty sure this Thomas Uvedale is the father of William. Sourced to Richardson it gives year of death 1474. British History online: Wickham has 1484 but there doesn't appear to have been more than one Sir Thomas.

This article about the Uvedale family by Granville Leveson Gower, from Surrey Archaeological Collections, Vol 3., 1865, might be the source Richardson has used to obtain information about Sir Thomas Uvedale.

Information about Sir Thomas starts on page 90, and apparently there were 2 sons named William (both surviving their father).  His will in latin, and translation starts on p. 158 (Appendix V) and the dates agree with what is currently on the WikiTree profile.

Sir Thomas Uvedale

This website also uses Richardson, maybe looking at when the will was proven might help

That link is to his entry in Lewis's database. Lewis adds footnotes at the end of a phrase or sentence, so sometimes only the name may be sourced to Richardson. I'll do a lookup in a sec.

The will of  Sir Thomas Uvedale is in TNA Discovery, PCC, Date 12 July 1474. In it he mentions his son Willam and wife Elizabeth. Also sons Robert and what looks like Thomas but it's smudged and hard to read. Lego Thome filio meo is about halfway down the second page and towards the right. On Ancestry PCC wills.

the citation from Lewis for Richardson's Royal Ancestry, volume IV, page 252 is a page off. Page 253, NORBURY 16.ii:

"Elizabeth Norbury, married (1st) before 1459 William Sydney, Esq.... died 22 October 1462. His widow, Elizabeth, married (2nd) between 1465 and 1468 (as his 4th wife) Thomas Uvedale, Knt.... son and heir of John Uvedale, Esq., of Tatsfield and Titsey, Surrey. They had two sons, William and Robert. [Thomas] died 20 Feb. 1474. He left a will dated 6 March 1473, proved 17 July 1474 (P.C.C. Wattys)."
