Pancho Villa connections

I just thought I’d check to see how far out my connection was to our Profile of the Week, Pancho Villa....

41 degrees! That’s the most distance from any Profile of the Week for me. Anyone closer?

Other direction: 57 degrees. (I haven't looked at the details, so I have no idea how shaky those degrees are.)
Details! “We don’t need no stinking details!”

(Probably a minor quake, the shakiness of the connections.)
40 degrees. I'm glad to see someone who is not so much of strictly European descent featured  in the connection finder.this week.

devil Pip, my Auntie Caroline is 37 degrees from Pancho

I have you all beat! Only 24 degrees. The ringer is my wife is Mexican-American. I’ve not checked out the sources yet.
On the Mexican side, all the relationships are based on Church records. I know the work of some of the PMs. The research is solid. In my case, this is one I believe is correct.
I haven't enough info about the mexican branch of my family to calculate  yet, but I do know my aunt was girlfriend of Pancho Villa's grandson, does that count?  Lol
He murdered my great great grandfather.

Ancestry gave me Pancho when I first joined over ten years ago. It was when they had their "famous relative" feature. But they did not show the connections.

I wasn't surprised then to see him. The connection was 43 degrees.

Frank Blankenship, They had Alexander Dumas. Another one that ancestry sent me in the beginning of my days over there.

wikitree could probably use W.E.B. DuBois as an anchor notable as all my connections so far go almost exclusively through my DuBois lines.

As we’d say where I grew up, “That’s a fer piece.”

Hi Pip! I was 42 degrees away and quite a convoluted pathway from Pancho, but I was surprised I was connected at all.

Me, too! ‘Twas rather strange, to say the least.
26 degrees from Francisco Villa, 35 degrees from Henry the VIII and 39 degrees from Gregrory Peck for me. Doesn't feel strange for me, rather find it reassuring that we are part of one big family.
