Did you join Project Denmark but not get a badge?

Did you join Project Denmark in the last year and fail to get a badge?

If so, message me and I will get you a badge.

I'm sorry for the delay.  We've been without a leader for a while and at the same time, I got distracted from Project Denmark by things I was doing in the Categorization Project. I've resigned from the Categorization Project (except for being our policy liaison) and am getting back to coordinating Project Denmark. I'm aspiring to provide better service as your coordinator in the future.

Are there badges for Denmark specifically or do the recipients get a Europe badge?

There is a badge specific to Denmark, but I recently got a Europe one too. I think that is because we don’t have our own leader, so we’ve been put under the Europe umbrella with the other countries that don’t have a leader. I think they are a bit short on leaders at the present.

Yes I joined the Denmark Project. I have - um had -  an uncle who died recently, and who had Danish ancestry. At the time I joined the project, he was still living. But he died last month and now I have started putting his family tree online.

Richard, I'm following up on your badge.  If you don't get the badge in a few days, raise your hand again.  We share a leader with a lot of other projects, so occasionally it may take a few days.

I'm new enough to this that I don't know IF I got a badge, nor where I'd find it, nor why it would matter.  Embarrassed to feel so inept at using these tools!

Lynn, you have the badge.  If you look at the top of a WikiTree page, there is a link for My Wikitree.  Under that is a link for Badges.  I think there is also a link on the public view of your own profile page.
