Are there documents of ancestry on Alexander Alexander Arceneaux asd Rosa Riley

Question

I am seeking any information on the parents of Alexander Arceneaux [1850] and Rosa Riley  Arceneaux [1853].

I have the decentage chart from the 1700's to the early 1800's which leaves about a fifty year gap before  his birth, but unable to find death records for either of them.

We are told that Alexander was mulatto and that Rosa's mother, Rose Riley was a Cherokee and her father was Irish, but have no proof.

I believe I located him on the slave register of Alexandrea Arceneaux at age seven.

They were the parents of fourteen children.

Rosa Riley's parents are listed as Amber and Rose Riley. No other information is available on Ancestry.

At some point, after their first two sons were born, Alexander Arceneaux changed his name, or reversed it to Arceneaux Alexander.

He was possibly born a slave.

Both are from Lafayette LA.

I have searched Ancestry  and Evangeline's Cousins.
