Coat of Arms for the Labuschagne family in South Africa

Question

I am trying to obtain the coat of arms for my wife.  She is a Labuschagne from South Africa.  I have been told by her father that their COA is the variation that contains a tree.

I have searched many genealogy websites and heraldry sites and no one seems to have it.

Any assistance would be most appreciated.

Coats of Arms are only given to individuals or corporate and govermental entities like towns or cities. Did she obtain the grant from the South African government or are you talking about a grant from the College of Arms in England?

Heraldry in South Africa isn't quite as regulated as other places, but there is a Bureau of Heraldry where some arms are registered. Lookup didn't find the name so likely an informal one. Whether a particular coat of arms can be used depends on the nature of the arms.

Thank you both for your responses.  The Labuschagne name has been in representation since the 1600's in South Africa and one of the original settlers from France.  The same family crest has been used since that time and I have found it.

The one listed on Facebook is one the owner of the page created for himself and is not official. But I do appreciate the link.
