The most obvious possibility is that when you're seeing your name instead of "you" it's because you're not logged-in or you're looking at a cached page from when you weren't logged-in. That is, the page doesn't know who "you" are. But it's also possible that in some places we don't have the system coded to check whether the person viewing the page is the manager. If you want to give an example, i.e. a URL, I can check which it is.
