Create and use a space page.
Thanks Melanie⚘

Will look into space page.....Cheers

I use a space page for every image I upload that I want to use on profiles .. backgrounds, primary pictures, Military certificates, Military awards, medal images (such as Pip, Squeak and Wilfred (see below) which are available on WT as separate images, but separates don't always align as I want them to)), etc.

Address for the image is my image "storehouse" space page.

Thanks muchly⚘
Cheers Melanie,

I'm still laughing at my link ...Just Created.

Thanks again⚘

Sharon, you might be able to get what you want without a separate page if the photo is attached to multiple profiles and at least one of them is public.  Take a look at this section of the Help file:

Thanks Dennis⚘ I will check it out.

@ Dennis .. but using a space page and then linking the image in the biography, will work for profiles where the biography is public.  I do this all the time .. upload the image to my space page, then use either the

{{Image|file=(image name).png
|align=r
|size=m
|caption=Here's an image.
}} version, or the

[[Image:(name of image)|65px|(alt text for image)]] version.

That way the image is not duplicated on the profile and in the biography (which looks silly).

It can be used on any number of profiles that way.

I see the sense in that as I just removed some images in my Grandfather's profile as I have those war photos in his bio now and it does look better without the double up.

Cheers..Sharon
I agree, the free-space page is the more flexible approach, just wanted to suggest another possibility if we're only talking about a couple of photos.
Thanks Dennis⚘All suggestion are greatly appreciated by me ... the novice.

Cheers ... Sharon
