Sorry but I am very much against this proposal. I mostly deal with profiles of European royalty and in the 19th century till now, they often have multiple given names; at least 3 or 4 and sometimes more than that.
I think that when we create a profile we have to fill in an online form, just like we might have to do now, and we all know that form isn't perfect for every name, but to suggest that some of these European royals have four first names, just because their names after the first name aren't officially designated as middle names, just feels like some form of 'political correctness' gone wrong.
In my own case, I have a middle name, Robert, but on my birth certificate it just asks for 'Christian Name/s' (because I'm old and that's how they were designated then) and it has John Robert in that order, and my baptism certificate just asks for my full name. To propose that my first name should be John Robert, because Robert isn't officially a 'middle name' is just ludicrous. My first name has been, and presumably always will be John, and Robert is my middle name because it is in the middle of John and Atkinson.
