I agree with Chris. Your Mary could also be from England or Canada. I have Chambers ancestors from Canada, most likely they are from England first. Do you have other information?

This is a long shot, but I did find in the Ohio marriages 1803-1900 a Mary M. Chambers married to David Ball October 18, 1870 in Henry County, Ohio. Could these be your people? If I knew these were the right people we could go on from there perhaps? Patti
