I plan to disconnect Wintersteen-26 from Wintern-1 and Elsibeth-1. Has anyone any objections?

I adopted Jacobus Christian Wintersteen not long after I joined Wikitree, as he was orphaned.  I felt I should step up to the plate, as he is my 5 x great grandfather, but have since been busy and then unable to find sources to support the parents the profile already showed, who are also orphaned.  Having read G2G advice to someone else, I would like to disconnect these, unless someone can give me evidence to support. Has anyone any objections?  Let me know by the end of July.  Does anyone have any advice on who Jacobus’s parents were?  I can’t find any immigration record into New Jersey, or any other US ports.  I think the dates and locations are reasonable, but can’t provide references to prove definitively.  There are no Wintersteen/Winterstein records that I can find in ‘Early Germans of New Jersey’.  I am trying to find a copy of ‘More Palatine Families’, but I live in the UK so no Libraries seem to hold copies and I haven’t yet found a digitised version. Any other sources you think I should check?

All advice gratefully received.  Thanks.  Wendy

Yes, I know that they he and Antye had children, but I am querying the details of Jacobus’s parents. Thanks for looking though.
Sometimes you can get hints from records of other family members, and I did not see that you had this one, so thought it might help.
Absolutely, Marion.  I have found information in surprising places.  I truly appreciate that you took the time to look.  I have updated Jacobus’s biography and will add information about all his children in due course, and links to their profiles where they already exist.

Thanks again.
