Anybody know anything about Jay Triska m. Edward Trask c.1625?

Edwarde Traske/ Edward Trask supposedly married Jay Triska about 1625 in East Coker, Somerset, England. I've been able to document him. http://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Traske-7.

However, Jay feels not right to me. For instance is Triska a mis-spelling of Trask? Was Jay actually initial J. for Judith perhaps? Did someone just invent her?

Does anyone know anything positive and sourced about Jay Triska?

Hi Anne,

You may be able to get information on the person from Old Parish Registers. Try the following site http://www.freereg.org.uk/

If the information isn't there then you'll have to try the national archives at http://www.nationalarchives.gov.uk/

Failing that you'll have to see if the Parish registers for East Coker are online, or contact someone there to do a search on your behalf, if they aren't online.

All the best
