Is there an easier way to find wikitree IDs when looking at a profile? [closed]

Near as I can tell the only place a persons wikitree id is shown in their profile is under sources, and not always easy to see or find. Am I missing something?

As a suggestion, it seems the wikitree ID should be easily listed as a data line near the top of the profile.

I agree I would like to see it on the page so that I don't always have to look in my link bar to find out what the id number is.
We made some formatting changes today and these IDs are now displayed a bit more prominently.

They are listed in the profile URL:

http://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Rockwell-390

Rockwell-390

They are also in your Watchlist and newer profiles will have them listed to the right of the profile name at the top of the page.

The WikiTree ID does appear on each profile page, though it's at the bottom, under Matches and Merges text. Sandi

Sandi is right. It's also near the top of the edit page. I don't like the idea of having it near the top of the profile page but if people have suggestions for other places they'd like to see it, post here.
Thanks for adding the ID at the bottom. You probably have your reasons for not wanting the ID at the top of the page, but I believe most people are looking for it there as it is a requirement for many operations on Wikitree. The top of the page is certainly my preferred location.

As an ex-IT educator I look at it from the point of view of people who have little IT experience. I still think a discrete ID tag visible without the need for scrolling is important.

How about a tooltip that is visible when the cursor is over the profile name? That would be unobtrusive. My own preference would be a very small font for an ID directly under the main profile name.
Hi Paul. We could add this just for Wiki Genealogists and only on the private view. That way casual users and passers-by wouldn't see it. I'll post here when it's done.
What a top idea!
It took awhile, but the IDs are now there near the headline, if you're a Wiki Genealogist and on the profile's Trusted List.
