He has been researched and a profile has been developed by Alicia Crane Williams of the New England Historic Genealolgical Society.  So you will have great sources to use.

You need to be pre-1700 certified.

WikiTree profile: William Marchant
in Requests for Project Volunteers by Michael Stills G2G6 Pilot (526k points)
There is basically nothing on the profile--not even the sources to create other profiles.  If I wanted to help, I'd have to do my own research or join NEHGS.
You can use the American Ancestors website for free at any LDS Family History Center.

Jamie, I have not researched your John Marchant ...

https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Marchant-16

and don't yet know anything about his wife Collette Gosselin. But I think the details about the John being in the USA with a wife Sarah actually belong to this William's son John which I am working on creating right now.

updated: Just saw that there is a 2014 message on the profile saying the same thing. Are you agreeable to me editing that profile to clarify the two different relatives with the same name ?
