It took me a bit to figure out how to do it - but these are images from video I took during the 70th Annual Fourth of July Parade in Chesterfield, Massachusetts. My son and daughter-in-law are in what was my father-in-law's every day vehicle for many years. A 1952 Dodge Power Wagon, otherwise known as "Big John" and as always painted in Dutch Boy Orange.
The annual parade is quite a big deal in Chesterfield. It starts out with a pancake breakfast at the firehouse, there is a small engine display, the local museum is open, there is usually some sort of craft or historical display in the Town Hall, the parade with children in costume, children on bikes, floats, classic cars, fire trucks, and more, then a band on the lawn of the Town Hall (visible in the first picture), a chicken barbecue dinner at the church, hamburgers and a fireman's muster at the ballfield, a finally a family game of baseball.
