Maybe these categories already exist and I just can't find them.

JPs I can see as a category, but census enumerators?  Most countries do censuses every few years, every 10 in Canada, and enumerators are hired then.  It's certainly not a permanent job, so I don't see that it would be pertinent to add it as a category.
Danielle, I made the suggestion because we all benefit from and use information gathered from censuses. So one way or another we have a connection with census enumerators. Their signatures appear regularly on pages where we're primarily interested in family composition, names, ages, etc. It's a temporary job it is, but an important one, carried out by people who saw door to door and transcribed.

Justices of the Peace has a category (although it is need of tons of work).

We do not yet have anything for Census Enumerators.

Thank you!  When I typed Justices of the Peace, the automatic suggestion was in England.

There are probably quite a number of census enumerators in our trees...
Oh, I see, we only have New Zealand and United Kingdom. How can I officially add an U.S. category? By state?
Thank you Rubén.
You are welcome, C.
