We're related a couple different ways! If you look at the relationship finder it takes you via the Gray/Perry/Blackburn line, whereas the degrees from each other goes through the Caudill line.

Oh, interesting. I also just discovered that Patricia and I are 10th cousins, also through my Dutch side. That was surprising to me. I would have expected to find a relationship through Blackburn as I have that in my family.

I am related to Patricia Gray in 10 generations.  Our 5th gen common ancestor is Rebecca Ferguson, born 1816 in MS and died 1876 in MS.  Patricia is my 4th cousin 1x removed.
