Looking for research partners to work on genealogy of Bryant Cockram, my GGG grandfather. I have some info but don't have much expertise or way to confirm details.

Hi Bryan,

From the gravestone photo on the profile I seems that the burial was in Oklahoma.Sadly the photo isn't that clear to try and get some more information from it due to moss and deterioration. However, is it possible for someone to clean the stone up and retake a photo of it. The restoration/cleaning of the stone need not be destructive., usually just the application of some water and a gentle rub with a non abrasive/corrosive type of material will bring up more detail to be read & thus enabling your research.

All the best

Thanks Billy. I plan on doing some cleaning on them. My dad has spoken to people from the national cemetery close by about cleaning the marble type stones and has had some success with his father's. These stones are at a small rural cemetery near Tahlequah, OK.
