Wow! I have first hand knowledge of the 17th century?

Been adding some new pages of Colonial folks my husband is descended from.

Was surprised to see how WikiTree automatically adds me as a source, namely, that I have first-hand knowledge of my husband's 17th century Colonial ancestors. (see http://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Taylor-10585)

I will admit that since a young girl I have always wanted to travel back in time. According to WikiTree, I have! wink

Jillaine,

If you add a source when you create the profile, that won't appear.

At any time, you can replace that note with a better source.

It's very important to include sources, especially on these older profiles.

Chris, I understand the intent; a better solution might be to say that the Source is "the research of [username]" instead of saying that I have first hand knowledge.
