WikiTree Tops http://www.wikitree.com/index.php?title=Space:WikiTree_Tops is where WikiTreers can add (and find) interesting or noteable facts found in WikiTree.  The main requirement is that your claims be linked to source information.

I love it! What a fun idea!
What is a direct maternal line?  Presumably distaff, distaff, distaff, etc
Direct maternal line is a male or female's mother's, mother's, mother's, etc., mother.

They will all share the same mtDNA.  Sibings of those women will also have the same mtDNA, but only female's will pass their mtDNA to their children.

I added my own connection to A.J. for the most degrees of separation, since it was more degrees than yours that you'd listed there. Is that one meant to be an active WikiTreer's connection to A.J., or just any profile? I can certainly find a longer connection if it's the latter.

I'm glad to see a higher degree of separation.  I was just a place holder;-)

You are welcome to edit so that it is clear it is for an active WikiTreer's connection to A.J. and then add another 'category' under Global Family Reunion for your latter suggestion.
I changed it to mine, since it was more than yours - 39 - i'm sure there's someone with more out there!
Of course, the closer the connection to AJ the less likely that there will be a lot of portraits - and vice versa.
I think maybe mine is the most distant of all - it's infinity because I haven't found one - but there must be plenty who are tied with me on that.

There is a separate section in the WikiTree Tops for people with the most ancestors added to WikiTree but no connection to AJ yet.

Yours is a tough tree, Gaile! At least from the perspective of those of us used to working with English-language (or at least Western European) records. Anything more distant than French and I'm lost! But I know Maggie N. works with Hungarian resources!

THANX for the encouragement, Lianne.  It's ok, though - I was only trying to make a joke about it.  In the section you mentioned, I probably qualify for the prize as the one with the fewest ancestors added to WikiTree!!!!   That just might have something to do with why I don't have a connection yet .... maybe also the fact that nobody on my tree (including me) has DNA tests either.  You're the best!

I have added categories for the profiles with the most children and most grandchildren recorded on wikitree. I have started the lists with Brigham Young who has 56 children recorded on wikitree and Miles Park Romney who has 31 children and 101 grandchildren recorded here.
