My name is Betty Nelson and I have just been searching on your website for anything I could find on the husband of Anna Petronella Klopper born 17.9.1832. From the little information I have she was married to a Gert or Gerd Coetzer born about 1823. I do not know how many children they had but one daughter was Christina Petronella who married Johannes Lodewicus (Petrus) Botha. She died on 14 May 1887 in Amsterdam, Ermelo District. Amongst their children was another Christina Petronella (Botha) who married Roelof Abraham Zeederberg, who was the father of my mother-in-law. This is the connection!
I am just wondering if you have since found any information on Anna Petronella's marriage. I have been looking for years but have had no luck.
I live in Cape Town so I have had access to the Cape Town Archives and at times have been able to search in Pretoria.
