I am waiting for my results with a dna test with CRIgenetics. My father was Robert Burt and his father was Floyd Burt.

Good luck with that. Let us know what you think of CRIgenetics. There seem to be a real mix of reviews about them. And a lot of the positive reviews seem to be from websites that look like they create fake reviews to promote products.

According to WikiTree, I am related to Floyd Burt who is my 6th cousin twice removed.  Going back several generations, he and I share a common great grandfather, Joseph Oldfield.  However, I am actually related to Joseph by marriage through his wife Martha Ann Grassett.  Unfortunately for me, although my surname is Burt, my relationship to Floyd and Joseph is not through the Burt surname, but rather through the surnames Halstead and Oldfield.  I have had difficulty researching my Burt family line through my grandfather George Burt born in Connecticut USA in 1886.

Good luck. I am interested in knowing how in-depth they are.
