How do I check wikitree ids better?

I have on occasion put the wrong wikitree id in questions and even after editing the question, the questions lists the wrong name in the question,but the wikitree id was corrected.Not happy with myself.

I agree with Herbert, but you can also fall back on old fashined pencil and paper. Also, don't be too hard on yourself. Mistakes happen.

If you look down the right hand side of any profile, you will see you can ask the question from the profile and the ID is then added for you.  Simpler than copy and paste.

I think that only works on Open profiles.  There is no Ask a Question button on your profile, Linda's, or David's.

It would be very helpful on the page where parents or spouse can be added and the wiki tree ID is entered, if the name would show up to be verified before you have to enter, only to find out that you had a digit wrong.
