As per what is listed, John "Hunting John" , McDowell is listed as her father, but my research suggests that his brother, Joseph was actually her father. I actually found this out when I was researching Joseph's son, Joseph "Quaker Meadows" McDowell when I saw Jane McDowell Brown, listed as his sister. ( I know, too many cousins and Uncles all named the same name. ). Since I am new, I am not sure how to properly and politely change this. Her paternal grandparents stay the same. Maternal are not listed that I could find.
