PGM: Francis Hall, origins, wife, children?

Hi:

I need some help untangling the wives/children of Francis Hall.  He is currently attached attached to Elizabeth Unknown as a wife, but at least one of his children is attached to Elizabeth Thompson-Crossley as their mother.

This Elizabeth additionally has two other children attached without a father, but seem to be intended to be children of Francis:

I tried to find the origins of the Thompson alias Crossley name.  But couldn't find anything other OneWorldTree/Millenium File.  As far as I can tell I'm not sure this Elizabeth Thompson alias Crossley existed. In which case she should be merged into Elizabeth Unknown.

As far as Rebecca, I can't seem to find any proof that Francis' daughter is the Rebecca Hall that married John Bacon.

Isabel could be Francis' daughter, but if his origins in England are unknown, then the connection seems speculative.  Maybe she should be disconnected and a new Francis Hall be created as her father?

I know I have more than one question in here, but if anyone is willing to look at this and help me figure out the best way to resolve, I would appreciate it!

Note that after getting agreement from the profile manager Rebecca (Hall) Bacon has been disconnected from the parents.

According to Donald Lines Jacobus, History and Genealogy of the Families of Fairfield, Vol 1 page 249, the surname of Francis Hall's first wife Elizabeth is unknown. She is the mother of his children, some of whom are now attributed to Elizabeth Thompson Crossley. I am still looking to see if someone has produced this surname but the two women are one and the same, just a matter of whether or not her surname is known.

Thank you!  That's my thought as well.

I think that also Rebecca Hall who married John Bacon cannot be the same.  a) there is a death record for Francis' daughter in Fairfield, and a marriage in Dedham doesn't really make any connection to the family.

And, unless there is info on Francis' origins in England that Isabel needs to be disconnected as a daughter (with possible connections explained in the bio).
So, Elizabeth Thompson Crossley Hall could be the mother of a Rebecca and Isabel Hall and she has just been mixed up with Elizabeth Unknown.
Perhaps this land record (if it exists) would help with  Elizabeth's last name:

"Elizabeth owned property in England, and Francis sold it and gave her a written agreement in 1664 stating that he would reimburse her. She died the following year, and Francis married widow Dorothy Smith Blakeman."

Jeanie:

I don't think so.  The only references I could find to Elizabeth Crossley-Hall was in the context of Francis Hall's wife, although you can find a pedigree for her in the pedigree resource file, but I couldn't make much sense of it.

The connection of the two additional children, all seems to stem from her supposedly being Francis' wife. Isabel's baptism record only names a father, Francis.

There is no actual source info on the parentage of Rebecca Hall wife of John Bacon.

Heather, that is a tantalizing tidbit.  That little factoid comes from the Donald Lines Jacobus book, but provides no further detail. :-(
