How do you add sources to established ancestors?

If you're able to edit the profile, you can simply add the sources to the sources section (below == Sources == and the references tag; add those if the profile doesn't already have them), or you can add them as footnotes in a biography.  More information is here.

Of course, if you're asking if you're permitted to add sources, then by all means, I believe most WT'ers would agree that's OK - at least it's OK by me. If you're adding to a profile (and not deleting anything significant) or correcting typos, that's generally considered a good thing. Good Profile Managers will go and double-check your work when they're notified, and will probably clean up anything that worries them, but I'm always appreciative of edits that help out the profiles I manage.
