Sir James Morgan, 4th Baronet of Llantarnam, married Alice (Hopton) Jones, widow of Nicholas Jones, in Abergavenny in 1695, and died without issue in 1718; the Morgan baronetcy of Llantarnam became extinct at his death. He is frequently, and wrongly, connected to an Edward Morgan, who emigrated to Pennsylvania and is an ancestor of Daniel Boone, as well as to various other Morgans, none of whom are his children (because he didn't have any).

Unfortunately, PPP can't prevent false children from being connected to a profile. LNAB changes and parental connections are the only elements it restricts.
That doesn't seem especially useful, then! Thanks for the reply though.
Since he keeps being wrongly connected to Edward, you need the PPP on Edward...

I just now added PPP to Morgan-582. Is that the Edward who keeps getting connected?

A  'son'  Thomas , (Morgan-25332)  has also been linked to James and  seems to have been a recent issue

Yes, I see that Thomas Morgan-25332 (a very new profile) was connected to James Morgan-1704, then disconnected, connected again, etc. There's very little content in that new profile, so it's hard to guess at the contributor's intent for the profile.

You should add a tag for the project to be sure it shows up on the feed of those working on the project.
