He is probably the Thomas S Folley who married Elizabeth C Gilbert in Temora in 1908 (She is probably Elizabeth Cardine Gilbert). There were several children of this marriage. If you track records of events in the childrnes lives you may find more info.

There are a couple of newspaper references at Trove for a Thomas Samuel Folley at West Wyalong:

SMH, Friday 24 June 1927

WEST WYALONG, Thursday.

At the Wyalong Quarter Session, Thomas Samuel Folley was found not guilty on a charge of having stolen a money order valued at £5 at Weethalle on December 6. Judge Coyle ordered the money order to be can- celled and returned to the Maternity Department.

SMH, Monday 17 October 1927

CONVICTED OP FALSE PRETENCES. WEST WYALONG, Saturday. At the Quarter Sessions, before Judge Coyle, Thomas Samuel Folley was convicted of having, at Barmedman, obtained, by means of false pretence, the sum of £9/l6/6 from Walter Keefe, hotelkeeper. Folley was bound over in his own surety of £50, and another of £50, to come up for sentence if called upon within 12 months, and was ordered to make restitution of £20.

He was my grandfather - a cousin has tried to find his death details but to no avail. I am the daughter of John Henry, his youngest son. Maybe he changed his name to avoid detection.
