I was just looking to start something like this - not that I know how to go about it, but these Webbers are driving me crazy, and the only way I'll be able to sort it all out is if I know about every Webber that ever lived.

Well, that's just a sample of how crazy it's making me.  I have Webbers in Massachusetts and Maine in the 1600s and forward.  I know my line from 1740/1 forward, but I have found anomalies in the more ancient families, which may just be another word for things I don't understand, and I would love to help sort out.  That only about twelve names seem to have appealed to parents in this family doesn't make the going easier.  :-)

Is there a tenure-on-WikiTree requirement for a project like this.  I joined 12 June, I think.  Thereabouts.

Glad you're working on the Weber/Webbers, Sandi. As I have time, I've been adding sources to Weber/Webber profiles without them. There are also some orphaned profiles out there that could use some attention. I don't think there's any tenure-restrictions....You'll find the Unsourced Profiles under your My Wikitree dropdown - Surnames - Weber. Feel free to message me if I can help.

Sign me up. I have both Weber and Webber in my paternal lines, from around the area of Kaiserslautern.

I'm in too, I've got lots of info on Weber's who settled in the NW Missouri area. Several other surnames included in that info (Irminger, Hessel, Hartel, Nuedeck, Nolting)

Terrific! My immigrant Weber came from Switzerland and settled in the St. Louis, MO area. He lived his entire life there and raised a large family. Welcome to the Weber Name Study.
