In central Europe there was no update since about midnight CET. I still stand at 20,996,555 profiles.

Probably merges and such like, I would think....

The updates have now been done and are complete for today - Sunday.

The number currently stands at -  20,992,155 profiles

I'm sure the Connect-a-thon gave it a nice jump. We added quite a few then.

If only half that is still impressive!

It's probably closer to 1 out of 100. Each month there are about 2,500 members with more than 100 contributions. There's also certainly a "long tail" in what's essentially a Pareto distribution, so maybe about 10,000 members contribute on a regular basis.
