I'm looking for the schedule of Bridger JONES II, on the period of 1850 and 1860. In 1854, Andre CHANQUIN born in France from Jeanne CHANQUIN and unknow father, i suspect Bridger to be the father, i'm related to 13 relatives of 23andme and all my research goes to Bridger.

1853-1854 in France, was the period of Crimean War, but America was neutral in this conflict, what was Bridger doing in Bordeaux ? if he was there...

Thank you Wayne, for your reply.

But, no, Bridger had an hole in is schedule 1850-1860..

Last children whith his first wife was Malachi Colombus JONES born december 2nd 1850 at Bulloch.

And married with second wife January 15th 1860, nothing between 1850 and 1860, so a gap of Ten years...

Bridger had a child by his 1st wife in about 1856 named Linton.  On the 1860 Liberty County, Georgia US Federal census a 4 year old male is shown named Linton with Bridger and Elizabeth as parents.  Linton does not show up in the 1870 census so it is most likely he died before that census.

Linton could have been born in 1855 but 1856 seems more likely.  I added him as a child of Bridger and Susan.  There is still a gap between the birth of Malachi in 1850 and the birth of Linton in 1856.
Hello Helen,

Thank you very much for this information, i add that in my tree.

Does anyone know Bridger's job?
Ok, i read the 1860 census, and his job was mentioned "Planter".

Réf : United States Census, 1860 Georgia Liberty 1132nd Disct folio n°06/12 - maj:06.08.2019-21:05
1856 was the date of the death of Susan DENMARK, the first wife.
Do you have a source for the date of death of 1956 for Susan?
In the 1850, 1870 and 1880 census records, Bridger is listed as a farmer.
Hello helen, i connect you on my tree with other relatives of 23andMe and William Wise/Sarah Margaret Denmark.

For Susan i have this : https://www.familysearch.org/tree/pedigree/landscape/LHNN-4MT
Thank you for the reference to the 1856 date.  Findagrave has 1859 with no sources.  1859 is what I currently have on her profile on WikiTree.  Will make a note about the discrepancies.  Thank you again.

Hello Claude!

We have touched bases before. I got caught in a very long vein on another branch but had every intention of getting back to you. I didn't know it would take me this long! my apologies. as I've said, I LOVE France. I had no idea. I'll reach out again in about a week if that's alright. If you get others, let's take advantage of this amazing opportunity.

You teach me DNA particulars, and I'll be at least one of your connections to United States records :D
