Unmerged people with same id number

Question

I have 2 Elizabeth (Maserole) Heberts in my tree. I had found them and was planning to merge them, when I realized that I had the same id number for both of them.

I merged their husband (Hebert-783), and you can see both Elizabeths, and that they are dfifferent (one is the mother of Anne, the other is the mother of Adele). I could not get them to show up in a search (full name or last name).

I was confused for a second, but I have a good eye, so I figured it out! They don't have the same ID. One is Maserole-1 and the other is Masarole-1. :)
