Colonel Andrew Hillyer is the son of James Hillyer and Mary Humphrey. We Need some collaborative help with categorization adding the correct Sticker to his profile. Any help to improve upon his bio and his military service. His profile just needs some TLC and improvements. Maybe consideration for a project?

looking at what he did before the revolution, would retag this to 7 years war rather than French and Indian war, he fought against the Spanish in Havana from the data on the profile.  Not the French.

I agree .. The use of "The French and Indian War" as a definition is currently being reexamined by Indian and American contemporary historians as an inaccurate misnomer and a definition that doesn't fit the facts. Unfortunately, it weighs with political and military biases of the times.

In regard , today it is defined as the "Seven Years War" by all sides including those that continue to also call it "The French and Indian War."

I tried to retag “Seven Years War“ but it won’t show that tag 

lol, probably hasn't been created, don't know who creates the tags for G2G

Check the Help page for Wars since it has ranges of years

Sticker page for Veterans has a list of most of the War stickers that can be used.  I don't see French and Indian War listed, but I saw it recently
