Hi, I notice that you have already added a find a grave reference to the profile.
Normally, unless the memorial on findagrave has a picture of the memorial, it would not be considered a good source for English profiles of this period.
In this case, it does but the picture was already on the profile. As the memorial wasn't made until the 20th C, it's still not a brilliant source. What also bothers me is that the information on findagrave is incorrect. It's most probably just a typo but It says " Somers' heart was buried in Bermuda but his body, pickled in a barrel, was landed on the Cobb at Lyme Regis in 1618 and brought to Whitchurch Canonicorum."
The burial register for Whitchurch records his burial in 1611, Dorset History Centre; Dorchester, England; Dorset Parish Registers;Reference: PE/WCC:RE1/1 image 47, Ancestry.co.UK (hope this will work, it's the last but one entry on the right hand page) https://www.ancestry.co.uk/sharing/17349096?h=39378f via @Ancestry
To me the date looks like the iiij (4th) but the month is not legible in the scan.
The brass memorial says that he was buried on July 4th (nice clear image here https://www.britainexpress.com/counties/dorset/churches/whitchurch-canonicorum.htm )
This 19th C book says he was buried on 4th June 1611 https://babel.hathitrust.org/cgi/pt?id=hvd.32044058166992&view=1up&seq=290
Rather than removing the reference, I'd add a note as to the burial on 4th June or July, 1611 and the incorrect detail (burial 1618) as stated on findagrave.
(corrected typos;typed 1811 not 1611; we all do it!)
