Gustave Edward/Eduard Curt - Seeking Information

I am looking for any information about my third great grandfather Curt-27.

The only information I have been able to find on various record sites is that he immigrated from Saxony and was married twice; first to Dorothea Späth (first husband John Henry Hübner) in 1856 and then to Anna Marie Beck in 1858 (my third great grandmother). He's listed in an 1860 St. Louis, MO census as possibly being born in 1828 and being from Saxony, which was at the time located in Prussia rather than Germany.

Though, there are a records of Gustave in St. Louis they don't offer much information about his origins or life. I haven't even been able to find a death certificate or grave for him.

It should also be noted that the "Curt" last name may not be his real last name. Variations could be Court, Kurt, or Kurth possibly.

Any information is greatly appreciated.
