It looks like the whole profile is visible.  There isn't very much there, though.

Since the PM seems to be inactive, leave a comment on the profile, as well as send a private message to the PM.  Also, request to be added to the Trusted List from the Privacy tab, with your reasoning.  All of that will start the process for Unresponsive Manager.  Review https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Help:Unresponsive_Profile_Managers

Good luck

Suzanne, it looks like you are brand new to Wiki Tree.  You need to sign the Honor Code and complete that process so that you are a full member of Wiki Tree.

You may be having trouble viewing profiles because you have not done this and you are still a Guest Member with limited Editing, and possibly Viewing of profiles.

Suzanne, based on the privacy assigned to that profile, you are seeing everything that is in her profile here.  Although I realize that it's not a whole lot of information, that's all there is.  Ellen's recommendation to write to the profile manager is probably the best way to find out if she knows any more about Ida Burkett, but Marion noted that she has been inactive for almost a year … that's not all THAT long, though, and you might get a response if you try writing to her.  HERE is the link to send her a message.  Good luck!

Welcome to WikiTree!

You will want to create a profile for yourself, and if desired (and confirmed accurate), add Ida Burkett as your mother.

Do this before you message anybody. Also, I would suggest requesting to be added to the profile's Trusted List.

Suzanne, Thank you for your interest in WikiTree. If you desire to become a member of WikiTree and be able to see the information on other profiles, you will need to be confirmed as a Family Member of WikiTree.

You need to create your research tags and Volunteer. Go to your Navigation Home Page https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Special:Home. On that page, you should find boxes labeled Tag and Comments. In one or more of the boxes labeled Tag type a surname or family location that you are researching. In the box underneath labeled Comment, indicate why it is important to you.

Then scroll down the page to the bar that says "Add Tags and Volunteer." Once you click on that bar, a Greeter will see that you want to join WikiTree and will come by and confirm you as a member. You can then add your family and you will receive a link to the new member tutorials offered by WikiTree.

If you have any other questions, be sure to come back and let us know.
