Fellow WikiTree volunteer Greg Slade is 16 degrees from Karen Hoy (7C1R). 

She and I are related as 9C, but curiously the connection finder provides a different path which is also 19 degrees. Since we're both partly French Canadian, we share many other ancestors it seems: "42 common ancestors were found between Karen and JN within 15 generations."

I'm 15 from Doc Holliday due to the marriage of Rebecca Medlock (dau/of Thomas) who married Solomon Manual Baker ... rather a convoluted path involving the Glover and Cloud family ... Thomas Medlock is my paternal granny Harriet Mary Medlock's grandfather by his 1st wife; Rebecca (Medlock) Baker was the dau of Thomas' 3rd wife [only wives #1, #3, and #4 had issue)
