This one is for you, too, British GFR folks!
A while back, AJ met up with comedian Ricky Gervais, and snapped a photo of the two of them together holding the "I Am A Cousin" sign. A bunch of the celebrity cousin photos are going to be used in an upcoming Buzzfeed article about the Global Family Reunion. Here's the thing - we know that Ricky must be connected, but his connection isn't in WikiTree yet.
The easiest connection to the Global Tree is probably going to be through Ricky's father Lawrence (Laurent), because the tree for him on the Nos Origines genealogy resource indicates he has deep Quebecois roots. It would be really quick to use Nos Origines as a reference, search for sources to corroborate it, and cite them here. Is anyone up to it?
On the other side, Ricky's mother, Eva is English, and we might be able to get a closer connection to AJ by researching her family.
The deadline on this is Saturday night, so the sooner we can get started, the better. Both profiles for Ricky's parents are set to Open privacy, so let's go!
