How do I correct a duplicate entry of myself?

I joined WikiTree, and then uploaded a GEDCOM file with a lot of information in it.  When the upload was done, I erroniously added myself to the tree - even though I was already in the GEDCOM.  So now, there are two kids of my parents with the same name - me, from the WikiTree profile, and me from the GEDCOM.

How can I fix this?  I guess I what I need to do is merge the two records, somehow, yes?

Yes, what you want to do is merge them. That's done on this page: http://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Special:MergePerson

The two profile are McClanahan-81 and McClanahan-78. So what you want to do is put McClanahan-81 in the top box on the merge page, and McClanahan-78 in the bottom box. Then click Merge, and follow the directions from there! See the help page for more info: http://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Merging
