i am looking for info on a james william rogers that died in an explosion in 1975 or 76 in winchester ky.

the james william rogers i am looking for is my real grandfather.  there is a theory that he faked his death to avade child support. my father has passed away now leaving no information about his father.  im am desperately looking for lost members of my family.  it was said that he died in an explosion that he caused by dynomite.  sometime during 1975 or 1976.

I am pretty sure he died. My husband's aunt was also killed in the explosion. I actually found this post while looking for more information on the explosion. I do hope you will email me as I have more facts for you.

You could try switchboard.com for Winchester, KY. Click on Find a Person, enter the city, state and surname and you should come up with over 100 Rogers. There were three William Rogers and three James Rogers. 

William Rogers born 7 Dec 1922, s.s. No. 400-22-2100 issued in KY. He died August 1975 at est. 53y. 

William Rogers birth 21 February 1920 social security number 403-14-0784 issued in Kentucky, death date:April 1975 est. age 55

The William Rogers who died in April might be the closest match, as the explosion and the Death of Emma appear to have taken place in April as well.
