My great grand mother was adopted. Born 12/23/1871 Susan Hannah Hand Calhoun may have come from the Dubois / Johnstown, PA area as she reportedly mentioned that family members may have died in the Johnstown flood. She had bright red hair. She had said she was one of many children and adopted because her parents could not care for her at the time of her birth.
