How’s do I get a family tree to show up on a Facebook account?

It seems a good way to encourage others to respond to queries.

And why please are prefixes and  suffices still  being discouraged?

I see on my profile page if I click on the Family Tree and tools tab  and go most of the way down on the page that pops up there is a label "Share Tree on Facebook"  clicking on it seems to give all of the instructions needed.

Re titles - Because most people are not BORN with titles, but only acquire them later in life.

The exceptions would be those members of royalty who hold titles of Prince, Princess, Lord and Lady from the day they are born.

Then every VC, or MajGen should have their prefixes and suffixes removed.

Also, you don't have to be royal to be born to a title .. probably collateral to royalty, at some point higher in one's tree related to, but not born royal.  (Diana Spencer was not royal by birth, but was born to the title of Lady.)

Those suffixes can be placed on their profiles after they die.. Just not while they are alive.

And I have no problems with Princess Diana. she was not directly royal but she did have royal ancestry.

Anyone else in the english aristocracy who has or had  such a title would have been descended from english royalty at some point in their ancestry.
