Need firm documentation that Samuel B. Heath B. 1773 was son of Joseph

Joseph Heath and Sarah Scripture had 17 or 18 children.  Samuel is sometimes listed as a son, but Joseph's will clearly does not include a Samuel as one of his 11 children.  Does anyone have proof to the contrary that he was?

Samuel Heath christened 31 Dec 1773 at Bovey Tracey, Devon, England. Father's name is Samuel Heath.

There were a number of Samuel Heath's born or christened in 1773. In checking the first dozen or so, I have not yet seen a father named Joseph.

Can you expand on the county and city where Joseph lived?

Joseph Heath (father of Samuel B) was born July 20, 1723 in Coventry, Tolland, CT.  My Samuel's mother (and Joseph's wife) was Sarah Scripture, B July 15, 1723, also Coventry, Tolland Ct.

This is the universal parentage given for Samuel B, but he, himself, doesn't show up in the listings for Joseph and Sarah's 17 or 18 children.  Also, I found Joseph's will and he leaves equal shares to his named 11 (some had died and one was excluded) children.  Samuel was not among them.  Do you, by any chance, have birth documentation of immigration for your English Samuel?

You're wonderful to help.  Thank you!  PS.  My Samuel B was married to Sylvia Whipple, daughter of the Job Whipple,  b. 1749

Tolland, CT.  (B 1723)   Married to Sarah Scripture also born 1723.  Thanks for any help!
There was a Samuel Whipple born 19 Feb 1788 at Tolland Twp., Tolland, CT who parents were shown as Samuel and Sarah Whipple.
