Absolutely Wonderful Norwegian Genealogy Blog

I just stumbled across this gem of a genealogy blog, which I wanted to share with my Fellow WikiTreers, called "Norwegian Genealogy and then some". It's written in English, and contains lots of helpful articles. It has the most comprehensive coverage of Norwegian probates written in English that I've ever seen, and I'm so happy that I don't have to write about this stuff myself, but can just point to Martin's excellent work: Norwegian probate records part 1 and Norwegian probate records part 2.

Enjoy!

Thanks Leif - what a great site.  On his NR2 he talks briefly about the skiftekort - the index cards.  I have used them a lot because basically, my eyes glaze over and I go into a catatonic state as soon as I bring a probate record up on the screen.  <grin grin>  ;-)
