Are there German genealogy websites in English?

I have ancestors in Hessen, Germany 1800 - 1855.  I have searched on Family Search for them, without luck.  I am willing to try German genealogy websites, but they would have to be in English.  I have asked for help, but want still want to learn how to search genealogy (in English) internationally.  I am trying to find the family of brothers Johann George Becker, Johann Peter Becker, and Johan Wilhelm Becker.  Parents Johann and Katherina.  There could be other children in the family. They are Catholics, possibly in either Hesse-Cassel or Hesse - Darmstadt.  They were possibly in the 1848-1849 revolution, all three Becker brothers left for the USA just before, or just after 1850, Another location hint in Hessen, besides being Catholic might be a stone quarry... all three brothers by craft and trade were stonemasons.  I am willing to help in the search for the correct Becker family with George, William, and Peter as sons in it, if there is an English language, German genealogy website with records 1800-1855. Is there?

Did you have a look at the resources of the German Roots Project? You might find some stuff there.

Yes.

Archion, https://www.archion.de/en/ , is one example. This is a subscription site, and is in German or English.

Google translation can be helpful for key words. Once you get used to the site the language becomes less of a barrier.

When looking at the documents, you will need some key words.

For reading the text, Edna Bentz’s booklet,  If I Can You Can Decipher Germanic Records, is useful, and is available through Amazon.

Archion is only for Protestant records as it is is a cooperative project among the Evangelical Church in Germany (EKD) and the majority of regional protestant churches in Germany.
That’s for the clarification. I missed the religion when I skimmed the post.

If you use Chrome as a browser you can right click when on a website and select translate.   I do it all the time...

Also we are working on new resources for many of the German States.  I think I sent you the info for Hessen  Those were all primarily in English.

If I didn't send me a private message with your direct email and I will send you the file while we get all the system updates done.
