has links to others listed as

Parents:   Freda Vivian Fruge (1926 - 2001)

Freda is survived by her 3 sons: Robert L. Fruge, Leo L. Fruge, and Benny E. Fruge all of Vidor, and 1 daughter, Doris Robuck of Vidor, 1 sister, Edna L. West of Honey Island, TX. Six grandchildren, and ten great grandchildren.   A native of Elton, Louisiana Freda has lived in Vidor since 1942

Doris was preceded in death by her parents Clifton and Freda Fruge. Doris is survived by her husband Rickie Robuck, Sr of Vidor, sons Houston Robuck and wife Kelley, and Rickie Robuck, Jr and wife Regina all of Vidor, and Clifton Robuck of Lumberton, brothers Leo Fruge, Bennie Fruge, and Robert Fruge all of Vidor, and five grandchildren.

Leo was preceded in death by his sisterDoris Robuck. He is survived by his son Leo Yeager of Iowa, step-daughters Debra McMillon and Feather Philly, brothers Benny Earl Fruge and Robert Lee Fruge all of Vidor.

Clifton Fruge – Possible Spouse of Freda ?

Birth:    1919    Death: 1987   PFC US ARMY WW II

Burial: Del Rose Cemetery  Vidor Orange County Texas, USA

Perhaps if you contact Del Rose Cemetery they will have records on parents of Clifton & Freda.

You could do further searches from there then cross check to tribal applications to see if any were enrolled.  Depending on how far back you need to go and tribal connection, you may want to check Rootsweb Cherokee Nation, Indian Territory Research documents which include the original Reservation Roll, Emigration Roll; Siler Roll, Drennan Roll, etc.

While this may not really answer your question, it may give you some additional places to look..
