Hello Team Missouri participants!
This post will create a thread where we can work together to coordinate our efforts. Thank you for volunteering to help and joining our team. This is the place for the team to ask questions, give advice, see updates, and cheer each other on.
I'm thinking I might scan the list for surnames that I could have a connection to, which might improve my chances for finding sources! Or might help me find more sources for people I've already been stymied on...
As I re-read the above, I guess that could sound self-serving, but ultimately, its all for the good of the Tree!
Nor'Easters wish you all the best during this Source-a-thon. Go get 'em and have fun.
No sweat! What did you score?
Well, darn it, I was sleeping. Went to bed at 2:30 am Pacific time, didn't wake up till 11. Thanks for the heads up, anyway. Maybe it'll come 'round to me again, I'll be at the midnight chat in an hour.
I am working on a profile that the deeper I get into the more problems I am finding with it. They have made the husbands have the maiden names of the wives and things do not match up when cross-referencing to Family Search where I started. The original couple and wife's parents matched. Any suggestions to not take all night to correct this one profile? I have already been on it for over an hour just adding birth/death dates for the children.
I just got a thrill - I gave a man his name! "Unknown Price" (Price-5283) not surprisingly had no sources. I did the same detective thing you all are doing too, and found him - with his first name: Richard. That's fun stuff!
In case anyone wants to see the statistics, but don't know where to find them, here you go. We are in ninth place so far.
