Are these the signatures of the same man?

Question

The Rev Thomas Edkins was a non conformist minister in Forest Green, Avening, Gloucestershire. His first child was baptised in 1820, his wife was an Elizabeth.Although there is secondary literature about him, none mention his wife's maiden name.

I've found a marriage in  the parish church at nearby Minchinhampton in 1819 (you couldn't marry in non conformist churches then)

I think that the signatures in the marriage register and his baptism register are of the same man but would like other people's opinion.

Me too, a lot is the same. I know my signature has not only changed over the years but even what mood I am in. Oddly it gets neater and easier to read when I am happy.

Hm, majority in favour but fairly small sample. I'll keep her how she is for the moment  as I haven't attempted to research her. I think the chances of another Thomas Edkins being in the area are quite slim, it's a relatively uncommon surname outside a small area Warwickshire (though this Thomas came from Berkshire)

I think they are the same man. The "Th" at the start is very similar in both cases and they both have the same rightward slant.

Most were not educated,so someone else filled out papers.

The signatures look very different to me, esp. the last name.  Notice that the "k" is formed in a different way.  Slant is different, too. . . . but I'm no expert.
