How to make a connection to already existant pre-1500 profiles?

Question

I have created profiles to ancestors of mine after 1500 and I would like to link them to pre-1500 profiles already existing in wikitree but I cannot create pre-1500 profiles. The profiles to which I want to make the connection are https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Castilla-112 (Sancho de Castillla) (who is descendant of Rurikides house, from Kiev) and https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/De_Menezes-3 (Maria Afonso Teles de Menezes), who, accordingly to roglo.eu, were parents to Teresa Sánchez de Castilla which profile is not yet created at wikitree. Teresa is an ancestor of https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/De_Melo_da_Cunha-2 (Diogo de Melo da Cunha), according to Roglo.eu.

Hi Tiago, WikiTree now has quite strict rules on the sources that can be used to create or edit pre-1500 profiles and unsourced genealogies such as roglo.eu are not considered acceptable.

There is still a long way to go to bring existing profiles, such as Sancho IV or Maria Afonso Teles de Menezes, up to an acceptable standard, but the fact they were created with no sources or poor sources is the reason the pre-1500 badge was introduced in the first place.

Unsourced online family trees are also not recommended for pre-1700 profiles and it would be a good idea to go back and find better sources to confirm the profiles you have already entered.  If you have trouble finding better sources then let us know.

For option 1, you can consider making a post asking for a pre-1500 member to work with you as a coach.  I will soon be adding a list of pre-1500 coaches and adding it to the list.  England has their own pre-1500 "boot camp" and some other projects may have also.

For option 2, you may consider opening a space page and posting what data you want to add and/or what profiles you want to create and include your sources and reference data.
