Question

My Tree only shows as far as my GG Grandparents. I input further back than that but they're not showing on my Tree page.

Thanks for your interest in WikiTree.com and for asking your question here.

I just checked your Profile page and, at the top, click on the Family Tree tab.  From there, I clicked on the tiny green family tree symbol to the right of  your GGF Joseph Draper (1820-1885) and the next screen went back as far as Henry Draper.

This is merely a screen output limitation.  You can generate a larger tree by choosing the "Printable Tree" option from your own Profile page or any Profile page that you are a manager of.

Hi Keith, I also had this problem.  I assume you are only on "your Wiki Tree or pedigree view" which displays your ancestors.

My solution was to click on the "ancestor" tab at the bottom of the screen.  This will list "your ancestors" with links.  Unfortunately when you click on Mom or Dad, gm/gp, etc., it only shows "their ancestors".

 I have not found anyway to scroll the pedigree chart (left/right).  If you find something like this, let me know.  Maybe someone else will know that answer.

The Pedigree Chart does not scroll, but it does "advance".  To get the next page to the right, use the small [think tiny] green 'tree' icon to the right of an ancestor.

To get back to a page "to the left'" (so to speak), click on the name of the ancestor rather than the little icon.

Thanks, helpful, but not exactly what I was looking for.

The tiny icons only give me the particular family I clicked on.  What I was actually looking for was a snapshot of all (like page 1 display).

I actually like the pedigree chart view best because it reminds me "which generation" I am working on.
