I see only FAG and on the tombstone is inscribed 52nd NY Vols. Now I find the VA card:"United States, Veterans Administration Master Index, 1917-1940," database, FamilySearch (https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:QRH5-K6T2 : 14 January 2019), Philip Hubert, 2 Sep 1864; citing Military Service, NARA microfilm publication 76193916 (St. Louis: National Archives and Records Administration, 1985), various roll numbers. Says he was the drummer for Company E, though he does not show up in the book New York in the War of the Rebellion book. (some men were probably missed in this anyway).
